Introduction and Setup
Start here. This guide covers everything you need to know before your first immersive presentation — from what the app does to navigating it inside Apple Vision Pro.
1. Introduction
1.1 About Spatial Player Pro
Spatial Player Pro is designed for businesses, agencies, and professionals who need to present immersive video content to clients and audiences. Instead of using the generic visionOS media player, you can wrap your content in a branded environment — your logo, your colours, your 360° skybox — and lock the experience in kiosk mode so viewers see only what you intend.
The app requires no coding skills. Everything is configured through the app's settings panel and the assets you provide (video files, images, icons).
1.2 Target Audience
Spatial Player Pro is built for:
- Agencies and filmmakers who produce 360° or VR180 content and want to present it professionally to clients.
- Marketing and sales teams presenting products, architectural projects, or corporate stories at events.
- Real estate professionals offering virtual property tours.
- Healthcare, education, and training organisations delivering immersive learning experiences.
- Tourism and hospitality showcasing destinations and venues.
1.3 System Requirements
| Requirement | Minimum |
|---|---|
| Device | Apple Vision Pro (1st generation or later) |
| Operating System | visionOS 2.0 or later |
| Storage | Depends on your video files (app itself is small) |
| Internet | Required for initial download and subscription only. Playback is fully offline. |
2. Installation and Setup
2.1 App Download and Installation
- Put on your Apple Vision Pro and open the App Store.
- Search for "Spatial Player Pro".
- Tap Get to download the app for free.
- Once installed, open the app from your Home View.
- On first launch, you will be prompted to choose a subscription plan (monthly or yearly) to unlock full access. A free trial mode is available — note that trial mode adds a watermark to video playback.

2.2 Initial Setup
- Open Spatial Player Pro. The setup wizard will guide you through the initial configuration.
- Set your branding: upload a logo, choose primary and secondary colours.
- Point the app to your content folder — this is the iCloud Drive folder (or supported file transfer location) where your video files are stored.
- Optionally, set a custom 360° skybox as your environment background.
- Choose whether to enable Kiosk Mode immediately (recommended for presentations).
2.3 Loading Introduction Content
Spatial Player Pro ships with a set of demonstration videos so you can experience the app before adding your own content. These are loaded automatically on first launch.
To replace them with your own content, follow the guide in Preparing and Uploading Content.
2.4 Basic Navigation in the App
- Selection: Gaze at a button or video thumbnail, then pinch your fingers to select it.
- Scrolling: Gaze at the content area and flick your wrist to scroll through video lists.
- Digital Crown: Rotate to adjust playback orientation in 360° mode (useful when a viewer needs to re-center the view).
- Back / exit: In kiosk mode, the back button is hidden. To exit kiosk mode, use the admin gesture (three-finger pinch hold for 3 seconds) and enter your PIN.
- Playback controls: Appear on gaze — look towards the bottom of the viewport to reveal the playback bar.
